Palm Shores Mobile Village is a complete 55+ retirement community located near Lake Alfred and all the Central Florida attractions and Florida's citrus belt. Whether you want the quiet of the Gulf coast or the attractions of the Atlantic, you will find that both are within a 2 hour drive. All of the tourist attractions are close, but far enough away that does not hinder traffic. Many major league baseball teams have their spring training sites within a few minutes drive. Even the Hollywood filming studios think that our location is the best and have used it in films such as China Moon.

If it is important for you to be able to make the most of every day on your visits to Central Florida, you need to pay us a visit (See Map). Our central location allows for day trips to the East and West Coasts then allows you time to return to your home for a comfortable nights rest. For the baseball lovers, the Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Royals and the Detroit Tigers Spring Training Camps are only minutes away. For others that enjoy all that Mother Nature has created, Legoland which incorporates Historic Cypress Gardens and Bok Tower Gardens both offer wonderful experiences while loosing yourself in the days and enjoying the beauty of horticulture and wildlife at its finest. Shopping is at your finger tips with super malls in Lake Wales and Lakeland, while others can find a treasure at one of the many flea markets on the weekends.

Our community of 94 homes offers a pleasant view of the pride that our residents show, as their homes are on display to guests that pass through. One can quickly get the vision of partnership between the residents and the staff of Palm Shores. We are located on a chain of four lakes and will soon be on the larger Winter Haven chain of Lakes which has 16 lakes. Fishing and water sports are at your finger tips. View first hand nature at its finest, while observing all the wildlife offered by Florida. 

Palm Shores offers a 2500 sq. ft. recreation hall with central A\C and heating. Regular activities from November thru April include pot luck dinners, bingo, exercise programs, crafts, games, sing-a-longs, bible studies, pancake breakfasts and special occasion programs. Six professional shuffle board courts allow you the opportunity to play by yourself or take part in community planned events. As a resident you have access to our private canal for leisure fishing and boat mooring.
